Review: Cosrx Advanced Snail 92 All in One Cream

I have used Cosrx Advanced Snail 92 All in One Cream before. I thought I would try it again. Here are my thoughts on this product this time...

The texture of the product is sticky. I mean, it's snail mucin. It was easy to apply to the skin and absorbed well. I used it twice before I had to stop. The reason why I had to stop is because of breakouts. This product wasn't made for acne-prone skin. It has a highly comedogenic ingredient in it, which is Myristic Acid. I fortunately stopped using the product on time. I noticed some clogged pores.

Besides the acne, the cream isn't bad if it works for you. I noticed it helped a ton with fine lines, wrinkles, and textured skin. It smoothed out my skin. It made it appear brighter, more even-toned, and very youthful. I wish it were compatible with my skin type. My skin looked amazing after the first application. Maybe my skin lacked hydration, but I know my skin improved in texture while using it. It's just too bad that I can't use it on my face anymore.

In saying that, I'm going to use the rest of the product as a neck cream. Hopefully, it improves my skin there. Would I purchase it again? I'm going to finish the rest of the cream before I decide. I might try something else by then.

Review: Cosrx Advanced Snail Mucin Gel Cleanser

I picked up Cosrx Advanced Snail Mucin Gel Cleanser. I've always wanted to try a facial cleanser that contains snail mucin. Here's my review of this product.

The cleanser is a gel. It doesn't foam up much. For me, that wasn't a problem because I've used facial cleansers that didn't lather up but still worked. The first thing I noticed about this cleanser was that it is highly fragranced. I didn't like the smell of it. It was overpowering. I knew that I was taking a chance with a fragranced skin care product with this cleanser. I didn't expect it to be so heavily fragranced like this. The scent lingered on my face all day. I was hoping that I would just get used to it. My skin never did. My skin hated it.

I used this facial cleanser for 4 days until my skin became very irritated. It must've been the fragrance. My skin turned red and hot by the fourth day. That's when I knew I had to stop using this face wash. I also noticed that it didn't leave my skin feeling clean. It left a film behind. I noticed clogged pores. I developed some cystic acne, too. The only product that was new in my routine was the Cosrx Advanced Snail Mucin Gel Cleanser. I stopped using the cleanser immediately. I went back to my original cleanser. My skin felt better. Much cleaner, and now I'm just getting rid of the acne that Cosrx snail mucin cleanser did to my face.

So this cleanser didn't work for me. It's quite a disappointment, but now I don't have to wonder about it anymore. I wished that it worked because I noticed that my skin was very hydrated. It looked smoother. A little bit glowy. I didn't need a moisturizer, since this cleanser provided a good amount of moisture to my skin. This cleanser would be more suitable for someone not prone to acne and who has very dry skin. It's just not for my skin type.

The Ordinary GF 15% Solution: I find that my skin tolerates The Ordinary GF 15% Solution serum very well. I haven't had clogged skin or ...
