Review: The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + Copper Peptides 1% Serum & The Ordinary GF 15% Solution

The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + Copper Peptides 1% Serum:

I purchased The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + Copper Peptides 1% Serum since it was made for advanced signs of aging and dryness. It is a hydrating, peptide-rich anti-aging serum. I noticed some fine lines and wrinkles, so I thought I would give it a try. 

It's been 3 months using it. It's time for me to do a review on this product because I don't think I'm going to achieve any more results from it. So it seems...

The serum is a blue color. It doesn't stain the skin blue. It blends into the skin. It has a copper smell to it. It's not too bad. The smell doesn't linger on throughout the day. It disappears after application. It does feel a bit sticky, which can be bothersome to some people. I didn't have any issues with it.

So far, I have not seen results for fine lines, wrinkles, or texture. It's a hydrating serum. At the beginning, I did notice breakouts when using it. I would get pimples out of nowhere. Seems like the breakouts have settled down. I started to notice that the serum is calming due to the light hydration that it provides. Other than that, not much in terms of anti-aging, which is a disappointment, considering the serum isn't cheap. It was $32 for a 30 mL bottle. I was pretty consistent using it. I just didn't see that much of a change in my skin. I was expecting a lot more.

From my experience, after 3 months, I like the light hydration since my skin can't handle heavy moisturizers. Since my skin hasn't had a negative reaction to it (besides some breakouts that went away), I'm going to keep using it. It fits pretty well into my skin care routine when I'm not using any acids, or when my skin needs something a little more soothing. This serum seems to calm my skin without over-moisturizing it.

The Ordinary GF 15% Solution:

Another product I purchased from The Ordinary is the GF (Growth Factors) 15% Solution.

The key ingredients in this serum are...

- IGF (Insulin-like Growth Factor): Promotes cell growth and tissue repair

- EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor): Encourages the growth of new skin cells

- TGF (Transforming Growth Factor): Regulates cell proliferation and differentiation

The serum is supposed to help with collagen synthesis, tissue remodeling, anti-aging, and healing.

Here's my experience. It's been 3 months using this product.

This serum is very lightweight. It easily absorbs into the skin. It's just like applying water to the skin. It doesn't feel like anything on the skin. But my oily skin seems to like it. It's non-greasy, doesn't leave any shine behind, and doesn't clog my pores. I didn't have any issues using this product.

As for the results, I haven't seen any changes in my skin. It doesn't help with fine lines, wrinkles, or visible skin damage. Well, I haven't noticed much of a change after using half of the bottle. I've been pretty consistent with it, too. It fits into my routine when I'm not using acids. Just like the Multi-Peptide + Copper Peptides 1% Serum, I didn't see any changes in my skin in terms of anti-aging. The serum is $15.50. Would I purchase it again? I've had zero breakouts from this serum. It sinks into the skin and doesn't leave residue behind. I'll use the rest and update.
