Here's an update on Think Kids Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50!
I tried using it daily as my morning sunscreen, but I had to stop using it on my face. Here's why.
The sunscreen was moisturizing, but it made my skin appear too shiny, greasy, and messy. The more I used it, the more my skin hated it. I noticed some clogged pores too, eventually. This sunscreen is too heavy on my skin. It was too heavy on the skin around my eyes as well. I couldn't apply eye makeup without it running or smudging. I would have to go makeup-free with this sunscreen. It's not ideal for someone who wears makeup.
The white cast was annoying. I had to put on more makeup to make it less white. The sunscreen was so oily that it irritated my acne-prone skin. It made my skin feel itchy. I developed a rash on my neck. This sunscreen works better as a body sunscreen. But I don't think it's the best body sunscreen out there. The oils in this product...my skin just doesn't like them. It's just so greasy-feeling. Hopefully, I'm able to use all of this sunscreen up. I've been reaching for my other mineral sunscreens like Blue Lizard and La Roche-Posay instead, since they don't irritate my skin.
